Norfolk Naval Base Air Traffic Control Tower

Design and construction of a new 125’ tall cast-in-place concrete air control tower with a structural steel control tower cab. Primary systems within the control tower include a central elevator and redundant MEP systems. The adjacent control tower support building includes an emergency generator, restrooms, server room, break room, storage rooms, and access to the control tower via an elevator and stairs. The project scope also required the demolition of the old control tower at the end of the project.
