Apple Hospitality REIT

A 5,800 square-foot, three-story addition to the corporate headquarters of Apple Hospitality REIT was constructed in the historic district of downtown Richmond. With the headquarters located in a pair of renovated adjoined Italian Renaissance-style buildings circa 1893, Hourigan met the challenges of an adaptive remodel, historic demolition and renovation, hazardous material abatement and working within tight site constraints—all while still respecting the building’s architectural legacy and historic surroundings.
