Michael Henley is responsible for supporting the operations team and connecting with owners and partners to deliver Hourigan’s brand of excellence across Central Virginia. He keenly understands that strong relationships must be built long before groundbreaking. Coupled with his deep experience in collaborative delivery methods like Design-Assist and Design-Build, this allows him to provide invaluable insight and success to customers across our markets.
After receiving a BS in Building Construction from Virginia Tech, Michael joined Hourigan in the field as an Assistant Superintendent for large corporate, higher education, and healthcare clients. Seeing firsthand the value that technology could bring to the construction process, he spearheaded the development of the Virtual Construction group, leading it to introduce value-added services to remove risk. His unique blend of skills has served our clients, and us, well on the many complex and fast-track projects he has supported through MEP coordination, design management, and implementation of new technology across the organization.
