Over the course of his 29-year career in construction, including 18 with Hourigan, Brian Brown has spent considerable time immersed in healthcare projects. He is passionate about delivering building solutions that can change people’s lives and positively impact the health and wellness of communities. As a Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC), he has demonstrated his understanding of the unique requirements of these highly specialized environments.

In addition to the technical side of construction, Brian is a firm believer in the importance of building relationships—with clients, designers, and other construction professionals. His approach to leading high-performing teams combines clearly defined processes with individual empowerment to do what is right for the client.

Brian is a graduate of Old Dominion University, where he earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology and Construction Management. He is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) and a LEED Accredited Professional.
